I've got a billing dilemma for a client's patient seen a month post-op with superficial dehiscence at the central portion of their hip incision. There are no signs of infection, but they had some residual hematoma and serosanguineous drainage. After manual reopening, we irrigated (3L NS), debrided, and closed it again in layers... deep fat and skin. I don't think it's complex enough for 13160, and since it wasn't a simple superficial closure, 12020 doesn't apply either. I'm leaning toward 17999 as the best fit unless I'm missing something. Thoughts?
