2025 Telehealth Final Rule who's already making changes?

The 2025 Telehealth Final Rule from Medicare has been announced, and it brings some significant updates:

- Geographic limits will be reinstated in October 2025 (with the exception of behavioral health services)
- Audio-only visits will continue to be available
- Virtual supervision has been extended through 2025
- Several new services have been added to the telehealth list

gosh, geographic limits returning is a big one. That's going to impact access for many patients not in rural areas for general medical. but good news on audio only for behavioral health. That's crucial for continuity of care
