I'm trying to get a quick check on our UDS coding process. We bill 80307 for the initial drug screen and then use G0480–G0483 for confirmations. If we run a 12-panel, find positives on 3, and then confirm those, would we bill 80307 plus G0480 for the quant work? I just want to make sure we're doing this correctly. Thanks for any help from those who know this!

You're on the right track, Bill 80307 for the initial screen, then G0480 for each confirmed positive, just ensure documentation matches panels confirmed and double-check payer-specific guidelines too

I agree with @The Flashhh here. 80307 for the screen, then G0480 if you're confirming up to 7 drug classes.
